I got up at six o'clock this morning to take pictures of the sunrise, only there was not a sunrise. It was raining and there was thunder and lightning. I went back to bed and slept for another hour. Then I got up and the thunderstorm was worse if possible so Ashley and I turned on the news and we discovered that there was a tornado watch for Starkville.
I had to squeaze in my last interviews over the phone and the phone was a bit crackly from the storm. Then I waited around until the storm blew over enough for me to walk to the library and type out my article. I am proud of this article; I can't say that I am proud of any of the other articles I've written this semester (although I am not ashamed of them) but I think I did a very good job.
I probably won't be getting pictures of tomorrow's sunrise either, because there is a tornado watch, and flash flood watch for tonight. I have to write up my report on the city council meeting and e-mail it to my teacher tomorrow.
A girl was attacked at McKee and I received two e-mails about it with Safety tips. Apparently she was walking to her car when she was assaulted and she would not just give her attacker her purse. To my sisters when/if you read this: If someone attacks you immediately give them your purse or other valuable material possessions. It is not worth personal injury or death!
OK now that I have given this word of advice I can go to bed.
