Cowboy Week

Today was the last day of Cowboy week at our preschool. We had two "cowboys" come out with a pony on Wed. and give everyone a ride. It was so fun to watch the two, three, and four year olds ride a pony around, well the ones who actually wanted a ride anyway. A few of them did not want to ride Peppy, but it was a pretty good day. Most of the kids were very happy, and I think that it made their day to be able to ride a pony a.k.a. horse. I hope our pictures turn out OK. We were so happy that we were able to get a horse this year. Our regular cowboy had to quit bringing a horse for the children to ride. So we were afraid we would not be able get a horse this year. Missy, one of the teachers for the four year old class, got her husband and a friend to bring a pony out. These guys are heroes now!

Other things going on with me:
I just applied for a job as a housekeeper for an office. Please pray that I get it or some other extra work soon. I need extra work right now, because I really need a car. It would be nice to have one by the end of the summer or at least by the end of the year. I can't do that on my current salary though. I am not dying for transportation, because I'm using the car my grandmother gave our family (God does provide!). Still, I would like to have a car of my own soon.

Spring break starts next week. I have no plans as of yet.
