Grilled Chicken and Grilled Figs

     This makes a perfect summer meal. The recipe for the grilled chicken is Alton Brown's Ring of Fire recipe.

     The recipe for the grilled figs is easy peasy.
     Wash and dry your figs. Cut them in half. Rub your grill grate down with vegetable oil. Grill figs for two minutes skin side down over a medium flame, then flip them over so that the flesh side is down. Cook another two minutes. The caramelized sweetness of the grilled figs makes an excellent side or dessert. I served them with a simple side salad
